This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to step into a challenging role with a well respected and global mining organisation.

This is a permanent FIFO role from Brisbane/Townsville on an 8/6 FIFO roster to their world-class open pit mine.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the designs, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring and optimisation of Drill & Blast activities on site.

You will need to be degree qualified (Mining Engineering) and have the ability to use current mine planning and scheduling software.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
