With exciting plans for further growth and development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Commercial Financial Controller to join the group.

Working very closely with the senior executive team you will provide financial and commercial expertise to the group to assist with strategic and operational decision making. You will take responsibility of monthly commercial analysis for the group's performance and constantly be looking for improvement opportunities. The role will ensure that all areas of the business are working towards streamlining internal systems and generating business efficiencies, while working with the leadership team to produce and implement business plans.

In addition to the commercial aspects of the role, you will have an active involvement with the company's monthend process, preparation of board papers and overseeing the budgeting and forecasting activities. You will prepare written commentaries to provide insight on the financial performance of the business and will ensure that timely and accurate financial information is available to ensure the group meets their commercial objectives.

You will actively review the relative profitability of clients, products, services and business units and be heavily involved with the preparation of business cases for capital investment and manage potential commercial risk within the group.

To succeed in this role you will possess strong commercial and management accounting experience, preferably within a professional services environment. As a self starter with good initiative you will have a good eye for detail and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to build strong relationships with a range of senior stakeholders.
