Customer Service/Medical Set Preparation

Our client is a leading supplier of Orthopedic Surgical Kits to hospitals. An Opportunity exists for a highly motivated and extremely organised Customer Service/Loan Set Representative.

You will be accountable for providing excellent customer service to our clients internal and external customers through performing key customer service and loan set tasks. This includes picking, packing, shipping and checking in loan sets, receiving and confirming loan set bookings, maintaining positive working relationships with customers, invoice and credit processing. Building checklists to match the product portfolio, plus input, reporting, replenishment and monitoring inventory control systems (Boomerang, PRMS or equivalent) are also required. Additionally, this position involves liaison with carrier companies, inventory accuracy management (cycle counting), co-ordination capital equipment repair, compliance with policies and procedures and performing management reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all checklists are maintained to match required service levels.
  • Take loan set bookings and send booking confirmations.
  • Loan Set and consignment invoicing conducted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Other project and tasks as required by management.
  • Match surgery booking to correct check list.
  • Advise Inventory Planners, Marketing & Sales department of any stock shortages.

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Educational level to support numerical and written criteria of the position, ideally High School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous exposure to and understand of the 'Order to Cash' system of a business
  • Previous exposure to Inventory Management Systems, ideally electronically based.
  • Previous work experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Previous experience in a similar loan sets and/ or customer service role.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate desirable
