We are seeking a degree qualified Financial Accountant to join our clients expanding business. Working along side the Finance and Planning services team, your position as the Finance Officer is responsible for providing financial accounting to support the schools within its archdiocese. You will guide and assist the schools in the promotion of financial management and prepare financial data and demographic analysis reporting. High level communication skills is a vital component as you will be responsible to represent the business and provide financial reports to Principles, faculty and Government departments. Well developed analytical skills is essential as you will be required to analyse data for Government reporting. As the Schools Finance Officer your main duties include:
- Contribution to the development and achievement of the Finance and Planning Services' goals and strategies
- Provide advise and training on the financial administration of preschools and school operated out of hours centres
- Compile and complete government financial questionnaires and complete data reports within specific timeframes
- Analyse school census, demographic and financial data and provide timely advise to assist in the decision making
- Assist in the planning, conduct and reporting of school financial reviews
