.NET SharePoint Developer

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Line Service Manager your duties will include engaging on a variety of projects

  • Participating in customer SharePoint engagements
  • Building SharePoint solutions
  • Identifying options that address Client requirements and recommending an approach
  • Knowledge sharing and cross-skilling

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • More than 3 years commercial experience using Microsoft.NET development technologies (VB.NET, ASP.NET or C#)
  • Experience developing web-based applications using Microsoft's .NET Framework
  • Experience developing applications that use SQL Server databases
  • Strong analysis/design skills
  • Sound knowledge of SDLC

The following attributes would be advantageous:

  • Proven ability to work with customers, both onsite and virtually
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial consulting experience is an advantage
  • Commercial experience with MOSS 2007 or SharePoint 2003 Commercial experience in developing Web Parts (either SharePoint or .NET 2.0)
  • In-depth understanding of the SharePoint APIs, Security and Web Services
  • Experience in modifying the look and feel of MOSS
  • Ability to modify Master Pages and CSS to suit custom requirements highly regarded
