One of Australia's leading tyre and automotive companies is looking for vibrant, hands on assistant store managers to assist in the day to day running of the business. Using your mechanic trade experience and background, this varied role consists of both customer contact, advice / queries and hands on servicing and repairs on light vehicles.
 
You will be a key member of the team assisting the store manager with the day to day running of the workshop and your role will be to maximise service sales and profitability by controlling productivity through effective team management, delegation, follow up and excellent scheduling of service work.You will also be required to be hands on and be willing to jump on the tools in the service centre when required.

A solid understanding of OH&S and the ability to Identify training opportunities for the team in all operational areas is essential. Personal presentation is paramount in this role and you will be highly rewarded with a fantastic incentive program as well as discounts, gift vouchers and for your convenience uniforms will be provided and laundered. Professional development is supported with industry training provided both on and off site.

To be considered for this role you must have industry experience working as a mechanic or assistant manager in a similar industry previous retail management experience, excellent customer services be self motivated, have excellent leadership skills as well as a genuine interest in the industry.
