Job Description
In this role, you will be involved in design activities such as change implementation, validation and testing. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the purpose is to ensure all project objectives and agreed specifications are achieved in accordance with project scope, the program, resource requirements, budgets, quality, safety standards and customer expectations - both internal and external. Your focus will be to drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of all engineering processes, and assist with any OHS issues.
The Successful Applicant
Suitable candidates will ideally have experience or qualifications in mechanical engineering. Candidates that can also demonstrate a strong ability to manage and assist in the delivery of minor and major projects of a single or multi-disciplinary nature will be highly regarded. Given the requirements of this role, strong written and oral communication skills coupled with a desire to work within a team environment are a must. You will be adaptable to change and be able to prioritise tasks. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, automotive quality systems tools and driveline experience would be an advantage.
