Design + Construct are currently recruiting for Senior & Junior Estimators with Residential / Commercial maintenance and Insurance experience. Our client is a leading national contractor who specialise within the Insurance sector who have recently gained a number of new major contracts with Blue Chip Insurance organisations.

This role will involve attending site visits in to establish a building report e.g Scope of works, BOQ's and Costing for Storm or Fire Damaged properties in order to submit a tender for the works. On successful approval of the tender you will then be responsible for liaising with Engineers, Consultants and Inhouse Construction Supervisor in order to put together a programme to complete the construction required. The projects values range from $5K up to $1M.

Roles are currently available in Sydney, Albury, Batemans Bay, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.

To be considered for this role you will be required to have;

• Either a Trade or Degree qualification.
• Previous experience Estimating on Insurance or Maintenance works within the Residential and Commercial sectors.
• Strong report writing and tender submission skills.
• A solid understanding of Building Trades and services.
• A working knowledge of Estimating and Programming software such as Buildsoft and MS Project or similar programmes.
• The ability communicate effectively with Clients, Suppliers and Inhouse Service Reps.
