Our public sector client is currently looking to engage two trainers to deliver a national cybersafety education program aimed at teachers, students and parents across Australia. You will be working out in the field predominantly focussing on delivering workshops in NSW/ACT although there may be occasions where you will be called out interstate.
Responsibilities:
- to present general cybersafety awareness sessions to teachers (including trainees), parents and other interested members of the community;
- to provide professional development training sessions to teachers on cybersafety education resources and activities;
- to support a ‘train the trainer’ program for teachers;
- to provide workshops or presentations at state-based conferences;
- to support national targets in relation to its cybersafety education service through regular service reporting
- to have strategic input into Outreach program as required
Person Specification:
You will be fully qualified in the education field and must have relevant degree level teaching qualifications and suitable experience in providing professional development. On the job training will be provided.
Hours:
32 hour week during term time and 16 hours per week outside school term time and will be paid per hour worked. A working day for the trainers(s) while in the field, will normally consist of eight hours including travel time. When work commitments require more than an eight-hour day, this time will be accommodated across the working month.
This role is to start approx on 15th March 2010 until 10th Dec 2010. You will be paid hourly between $40-50ph + super + expenses, dependant on experience.
