My client, a government organisation, is currently looking to expand their team of trainers, with a position available to deliver a national cybersafety education program aimed at teachers, students and parents across Australia.
You will be working off site, delivering workshops in VIC/TAS, although there may be occasions where you will be redquired to deliver workshops in other locations.
Your role will include, but may not be limited to:
- Present workshops, highlighting general cybersafety awareness sessions to teachers (including trainees), parents and other interested members of the community
- provide professional development training sessions to teachers on cybersafety education resources and activities
- support a ‘train the trainer’ program for teachers
- provide workshops or presentations at state-based conferences
- support national targets in relation to its cybersafety education service through regular service reporting
- have strategic input into Outreach program as required
To be considered for this position, you must:
- be fully qualified in the education field
- have relevant degree level teaching qualifications
- have suitable experience in providing professional development ( on the job training will be provided)
- be available from the 15th March 2010 for 9 months
The position requires you to work a 32 hour week during school terms, and 16 hours per week outside school terms. One day of work will normally not exceed 8 hours.
This role is to start approx on 15th March 2010 until 10th Dec 2010. You will be paid hourly between $40-50ph + super + expenses, dependant on experience.
YOU MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT, HOLD A TEACHING DEGREE AND HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
