Due to rapid growth and continued project demand in Queensland, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Brisbane Water team.

In this crucial role, a large component will be responsible for developing new and existing business in the Queensland market while providing professional expertise (technical and management) in the areas of planning, design, and implementation of Civil, Water & Hydraulic engineering projects.

In addition to the above business development activities this position will assist with projects from concept to completion, whilst providing excellent service to clients.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have:

-Several years experience in a design engineering consultancy;

-Local Queensland experience;

-Preferably with specialities or exposure in Water, Waste Water and/or Civil Engineering projects;

-Demonstrated success and experience in a business development role;

-High level (or moderate understanding) of engineering design procedures;

-Ability to build on existing client relationships and build new clientele;

-Develop long term professional relationships with clients;

This role would suit a qualified civil / process engineer with specialities in Water / Waste Water engineering consultancy environment looking for a change or wanting to explore their business development / client management skills.
