Get involved in Project Management of a variety of different water projects (outside of surface water) that you may not currently be exposed to eg:
- Hunter Water (independent verification of designs)
- Water balancing
- Dam assessments
- Hydrological assessments
- Water infrastructures
- International projects (Bangladesh, Asia, Middle East)
There are different discipline groups within this consultancy that will allow you to diversify your experience e.g. Roads team needs hydraulic assessments and flood mitigation measures all the time.
This team uses TuFlow. If you have a Mike 11, 21 background then training is provided to get you up to speed.
Salary being offered is a starting bracket. Once you have proved you can work independently, salary will be reviewed upwards from here. This firm mainly deals with large infrastructure projects. They expect their staff to work at a multiplier rate of between 2 and 2.5 x salary.
