In this position you will contribute to the achievement of Operational Plan objectives by effectively and efficiently carrying out maintenance projects.
To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrated supervisory skills, including the ability to lead a team and to establish teamwork within a work crew, the ability to coordinate and delegate duties to ensure projects are completed within the set time frames, demonstrated skills in job cost control and sound knowledge of maintenance and construction methods for local government operations.
You will need to have a White Induction Card to certify completion of the 30215 Qld Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) and a current C (car) class licence.
Formal qualifications in road construction/maintenance at supervisor level and possession of tickets for road construction plant items and/or truck licence would be highly desirable.
Candidates must provide a current Resume, Cover Letter, statement addressing the key selection criteria and copies of qualifications / tickets / licenses relevant to this position.
