Our client is a well established Australian not for profit organisation that provides training and support to jobseekers who may have a disability, injury or illness and may face personal barriers to entering the workforce. The organisation assists them in gaining further education, training and employment opportunities. About the role:
The Site Manager will oversee a successful Disability Employment Services site in the Inner West Melbourne area. As Manager you will have full responsibility for staffing, staff development and performance, being involved in budgeting and forecasting, meeting revenue targets and KPIs, meeting clients' needs and expectations, business development, and liaising with and marketing the company's brand and services to external stakeholders.
 
 
Successful applicants will have:
 
  • An insight and understanding into the significant barriers facing the long term unemployed and people with disabilities, mental illness or injury preventing them from working
  • Strong people management experience in the Employment Services sector
  • A good understanding of the current Disability Employment Services contract
  • A good understanding of local labour market issues
  • A results and outcomes focused approach
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team to reach performance goals
  • Excellent time management and organisational ability
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
 
 
Ideally, you will have previous management experience within the Employment Services sector delivering the current Disability Employment Services or Job Services Australia contracts or the previous Disability Employment Network or Job Network contracts.  Applicants with experience within the Employment Services sector and strong people management skills will be highly regarded. 
 

The base salary is competitive and negotiable based on skills, knowledge and experience. The salary package also includes superannuation and full use of a company vehicle.
