This busy and high profile Government Department based in Hobart is looking for multiple Java Developers for Non-ongoing employment for up to 12 months.
You will be required to develop, maintain and unit test system components, develop and update existing system design, as well as liaise with business analysts and testers to efficiently deliver high quality work.
Our client is looking for Developers and Senior Developers with the following:
Developer - At least 3 years recent experience developing Java/J2EE/JEE applications in medium to large Government/private organisations.
Senior Developer - At least 5 years recent experience developing Java/J2EE/JEE applications in medium to large Government/private organisations.
In order to be considered you must have the following skills/experience:
- Experience with Object Oriented concepts.
- Java/J2EE/JEE Design & Development (JSP/Servlet, Swing, JavaScript, Generics, Annotations, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience with SOAP, XML, JMS, EJB 3, MQ and Web Services.
- Experience with Struts1 & 2, Spring and Hibernate.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
