An opportunity has come up with a great organisation to provide 3rd level technical support. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced technical support candidate to join their team and provide excellent technical support for their clients. Responsibilities include: - Support and maintain their network
- Liaise with internal departments as required
- Be an escalation point for support team
- Advanced configuration of Cisco routers and Switches in an ISP environment, including routing, spanning tree, QoS, 3G, and complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
- On call duties
- Monitor and respond to client network events
Required skills: - Strong customer focus
- Excellent phone manner
- High level of Cisco knowledge
- Demonstrated troubleshooting ability
- Documentation skills
- Ability to prioritise
- Prior experience in communication/ISP industry
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Own transport
