Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager (Mid-Level) to be responsible for the successful delivery of projects through the effective management of Managed IT Services!
 
Your key challenges will include planning, executing, directing and coordinating team activities in delivering to project budget, schedule, and contractual obligations whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
 

• Formal project management qualifications are required (PMBOK, or Prince2, or PMP or PMI)
• Minimum of 3-5 years current technical project management experience with Email, Backup/Archive and Storage projects
• Experienced in the project management of Managed IT Services projects
• Experienced with medium to large scale, high risk system transformation and data migration projects.
• The ability to interpret customer requirements and turn this into a deliverable project scope.
• Exposure to Data Centre deployment projects
• Exposure and experience in Citrix Deployment
• Exposure and experience in WAN Deployment, SQL databases and Backup (TSM) and Storage (SAN) environments
• Exposure and experience in VMWare Deployment
• Experience in transitioning to operations (BAU) for hardware and software
• Good prioritisation skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
• Experienced in issue resolution, risk management, change management and configuration management and tools.
• Good commercial acumen whereby customer needs can be met by delivering excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects running at the same time simultaneously.
• Positive 'can-do-attitude'
