PMO Manager (P2)

An exciting opportunity in Health and Human services is available working within the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) in a Management position.  The organisation is located in the Northern Suburbs of Perth and is easily accessible via Public Transport. It is a high level role working with fluctuating project demands; as such, you MUST have has experience working in a demanding PMO

If successful you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed in a timely manner and in budget. You will follow the respective guidelines and policies, identify and manage risks and deliver a high level of quality. Due to the nature of the industry, any exposure to Information Systems relative to the Health and Human Services industry is highly desirable.

On a day to day basis you will responsible for:

  • Manage, mentor and lead the PMO
  • Manage the respective information and systems to ensure the successful delivery of project related outcomes (in line with budget and time constraints)
  • Manage contributing bodies of service to ensure outcomes are delivered
  • Aid in the achievement of organisational goals and strategy
  • Facilitate, develop and maintain key internal and external relationships
  • Provide governance to a various projects
  • Map, monitor and maintain models of compliance and accountability
  • Identify and manage risk
  • Liaise with stakeholders at all levels of business

In order to be successful:

  • You MUST have experience in a comparable role
  • You must be able to drive forward projects to the expected outcome and have a solid disciplined approach that is still flexible in approach. 
  • You must also be comfortable dealing with stakeholder expectations and possess first rate communication skills. 
  • Strong technology awareness is also essential coupled with high level business skills
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Team leadership and people management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal are essential
