Quality Assurance / Test Analyst - Health Software - Sydney CBD
Our client, a Health Care Software solutions company, is looking for 2 x experienced Quality Assurance Analysts to join their cbd based team
The Quality Assurance / Test Analyst will be responsible for testing all software application changes on one or more products across several platforms in accordance with the organisation and national testing standards.
Responsibilities: - Review Software Functional Designs in accordance with Document Review Procedures.
- Prepare detailed testing documentation, particularly test scripts.
- Ensure effective use of the testing tools.
- Adhere to test disciplines and methodology for quality assurance.
- Perform business process and regression testing.
- Follow logging problems through to resolution as part of the testing process.
- Provide training to business system users, e.g. Solution and Support Consultants.
- Liaise with application developers and business stakeholders.
- Preparation of documentation for release of software.
- Assist Support Service as required.
Critical Experience Required: - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Systematic approach to planning and testing
- 1-2 years experience of testing / working in a similar role in healthcare domain
- Understanding and working knowledge of systems being developed
ISTQB Foundation Training / Certification
Desired Experience Required: - IT or Healthcare related degree
- Laboratory software experience
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst desirable
- Experience with implementation and use of automated testing tools
- Experience of working with an offshore software development model
