My client, a Global Leader in Analytical Software and Solutions is looking for an experienced Pre Sales Consultant with experience in Business Analytics and Data Mining to join their branch in Auckland. As the successful Pre Sales Consultant you will be responsible for translating clients' business requirements into detailed proposals, presenting to both technical and non-technical managers, plus defining and agreeing final solutions. You will own the technical validation phase of the sales cycle and be accountable for the delivery of the designed solution.

Responsibilities:

- analyze customer requirements and design tailored solutions to meet these
- provide business and technical expertise in the bid process and proposals
- prepare and deliver pre sales client presentations
- design efficient demonstrations providing clear objectives and scope
- contribute to solution teams objectives
- communicate the value proposition to the client with clear and precise objectives
- provide post implementation support to the client

Position requirements:

- Degree qualified (preferably IT or Statistics)
- previous pre sales experience
- business analytics architecture experience
- ability to apply analytical techniques to solve business problems
- experience with Data Mining concepts
- ability and technical knowledge to present to Senior Management
- ability to demonstrate the value of Business Analytics
- excellent solution selling experience
- excellent communication skills
