Our client, a leading Insurance Broker, is seeking an experienced Senior Broker's Assistant to work in their new luxury offices in the CBD.
In this role you will provide a variety of support to a small team of brokers who provide Equipment Finance to business customers.
Main duties will include:
- Respond to enquiries and requests for action from Account Executives, Clients, Underwriters and other team members
- Processing of new business, renewals and policy maintenance (endorsements/ amendments)
- Provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality relationship with other team members, clients and underwriters. This includes:
a) Attending to instructions and enquiries from team members, clients and underwriters
b) Processing team documentation - includes renewals, new business, endorsements, letters etc
c) Processing of certificates of currency and claims experiences where necessary
d) Marketing and negotiation of renewals, endorsements & new business including gathering all relevant underwriting information (including claims experience) and obtaining/ negotiating quotations from underwriters
e) Preparing correspondence between Westminster Broking House, clients, underwriters or third parties for approval by the Account Executive
f) Updating of Claims Status Reports
Pre-requisites:
- Min 2-3 years experience within Insurance Broking industry, ideally within WA
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Sunrise a real advantage
- Educated to at least Tier 2 in BROKING
- Extremely client focussed
