    A fantastic opportunity for an immediate start in underwriting. This role is to work within a supportive team and to be part of a growing division within this organization.

    You will be responsible for the management & retention of your own Insurance portfolio and the growth of the portfolio via new clients/new business generation, in accordance with service standards and Underwriting guidelines. This organisation is going through a rapid growth phase and are seeking Underwriting candidates from intermediate to senior levels of experience...this is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your Underwriting expertise in a long term role.

    In this role, you will provide complete Underwriting Services and your key duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Underwrite intermediate Household & Private motor risks
  • Underwrite electronic issued referred business
  • Assist with renewal underwriting
  • Maintain department service levels

    The successful candidate will be able to indicate the following key attributes:

  • Insurance Underwriting experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Fantastic communication skill
  • Effective & Friendly Customer Service skills

    To be successful you must be an underwriting experience with high attention to detail, effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects. Experience in a Personal Lines is preferred. In return this role offers a great platform to grow your insurance career.
