PACKER - FAST PACE

Our client picks and distributes promotional items on behalf of their customers.  They are needing a team of experienced packers to be available to work on a temporary on-call basis to assist them with special projects.  The duties vary and include:

  • Picking & packing of orders weights vary from 5 kilos to 25 kilos
  • Reading off a computer generated pick slips to accurately pick items
  • Packing relevant invoice or certificate to be attached to items 
  • Completing paperwork recording items picked and volume picked
  • Bench packing - will be standing most of the day
  • Stacking and Packing of pallets
  • Enuring orders are accurate and ready in time for delivery pick ups 

The hours will be 9am - 5pm on various days Monday-Friday

To be successful in this role you will have:

  •          Demonstrated RECENT experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment min 12 mths experience
  •          Have a high attention to detail
  •          Good hand eye coordination
  •          The ability to work at a fast pace 
  •          Experience using a tape gun
  •          Have your own reliable transport
  •          Be flexible to work Monday - Friday

 The length of assignments vary from 1 day to 1 month with the opportunity for good performers to have repeat work.
