A global leader in Oilfield Services are currently recruiting for a temporary Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator to start immediately

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and extract data from the performance tracking system and analyse for trends and epidemics of root cause issues and present to be presented to Top Management;

• Act as a mentor and coach to the business in the use and application of the performance tracking system;

• Collect the data require for the Australia Balance Score Card and identify areas of trending and report to Top Management;

• Maintain Accident and Incident Statistics for Australia and Regional report;

• Actively participate and contribute to Business & QHSSE initiatives, meetings and campaigns;

• Manage Audits, Workshop Inspection and Supplier audit Schedules;

• Proactively report and take action on all unsafe acts and conditions;

• Actively promote a positive safety culture and be familiar with the companys requirements;

• Assist to apply any required government permits as necessary to ensure compliance; and

• Actively work with the QHSSE all Departments to ensure the companies culture of management is part systems implementation.

• Assist with maintaining system documentation;

• Assist with system audits and preparation;

• Liaise with regional and national QQHSSE personnel;

• Deliver and monitor QQHSSE Orientations;

• Deliver training of various types within own competency level;

• Monitor Corrective Action Team progress and facilitate as required;

• Assist and Conduct Internal Systems Audits;

• Assist/facilitate Continual Improvement initiatives;

• Deliver elements of the Orientation and Induction process;

• Support the QQHSSE Manager Australasia and Quality Manager Australasia

• Support QQHSSE roles (Base Manager/Coordinators) at various work performance tracking systems

Required Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

• Detailed understanding of complete business processes to mitigate risk in company activities;

• Design develops, deliver and assess work place training programs;

• Compile, manipulate and present data in a meaning manner;

• Basic knowledge of either 4801/OHSAS, Quality and Environmental management systems; and

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
