The role will be responsible for running exploration projects on a day-to-day basis and overseeing contractors, field staff and graduates. Duties will include - - Logging / Interpretation of geological data
- Assisting in the mentoring of junior geologists
- Working closely with the senior exploration geologist
- Managing contractors/ drilling companies
- Ensuring protection of environmental sites
Successful candidates will require a geology degree, good communication skills, 2+ years exploration experience (including diamond drilling and logging core) and be proficient in the use of mining software. Nickel experience is highly desirable.
