Our client is an industry leader in providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services to a range of industries both locally and internationally. Our client urgently requires the expertise of a Lead Cost Engineer to work on a major resource expansion project based in Perth. Key Position Accountabilities (but not limited to): * Preparation of Cost Controls plans and procedures. * Allocates budget and establish milestones. * Forecasting costs and developing detailed WBS. * Evaluating and reporting of cost deviations. * Participation in vendor/contractor bid reviews. * Lead in establishing and assessing cost risk. * Assist Project with major capital estimates. * Assist in staff recruitment and training. To be considered, the successful candidate MUST have: * Min 10 yrs specific Senior Cost Engineering / Cost Control experience within an EPCM environment. * Demonstrated project experience within the O&G, Mining and/or Construction industries. * Management and leadership experience. * Hands on knowledge on a range of Project Controls systems (Cost, Scheduling and Estimating). * Spreadsheets and database management skills. * Strong time management and leadership skills. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * An Australian Citizenship or Australian PR. * Applicants without valid working rights in Australia need NOT apply.
