Vintage 2010 is nearly upon us and our client near Mildura, Victoria is seeking a Winemaker to join and assist their team to ensure a high level process of efficiency and wine quality is achieved during this time. Reporting to the Senior Winemaker your responsibilities will include supervising the activities in the grape receival and fruit processing areas, monitoring grape quality, overseeing crusher and press operations, ensuring Quality Assurance samples are taken, monitoring laboratory analysis results and conducting fining trials on juices or wines will be amongst the many varied duties. An understanding and knowledge of general winemaking principles and practices preferably with a qualification in Winemaking or similar is required as is previous vintage experience as a Winemaker, strong attention to detail skills and good communication skills.
