Today we are recruiting an important new member of the LEGO ANZ organization for the position of a Sales Rep - Northern Sydney, home based.
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Lego Australia as a sales representative and merchandiser in focusing on their high profile Northern Beaches territory. This role is vacant due to an internal promotion which highlights the excellent career development opportunities and succession planning strategies Lego Australia have in place for their high performing field sales talent. The key responsibilities of the position include managing a mixture of toy retail chains and independent customers in your assigned territory. You will be targeted on increasing Lego's share of shelf in-store, focusing on winning more Promotional / Point of Sale off location displays in high performing retail stores, to grow your sales revenue within your patch. The position involves several key areas including - Relationship Management, In-Store Execution of Promotional Strategy, Merchandising. You will be working closely with the broader sales team communicating key wins in store and creating a positive team based culture and environment. This sales role needs a creative flair as you will be organizing displays and stages in stores and reporting back by way of a power point presentation to management. The general function of the role involves preparing your own day plans and fostering your relationships with your key store/chains and is a great platform for ambitious sales candidates to drive their career forward with the market leader.
The Successful Applicant
You will need to be degree qualified and have between 2 - 3 years commercial sales experience ideally within the FMCG / Consumer Goods space. You will need a strong presentation ability with excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills as you're required to prepare lots of presentations reporting on your territory performance to the broader sales team. You will need to also be pro-active, self motivated with the ability to work autonomously in the field and be driven to achieve results. Previous experience in a similar sales representative and merchandising role in FMCG would be an advantage through is not essential.
