Business Development Manager - Industrial Automation $140K Package - Adelaide based

In their space, this software and hardware vendor is head and shoulders above their competition, offering powerful integrated solutions, exceptional professional services and being partnered with some of the biggest software companies in the world, this is a company in a unique position. Due to a national restructure this client is looking to secure the services of a proven Software Solutions BDM to manage a blue chip client base and further develop and grow the SA, WA market.

The Role on Offer

Working with a professional sales team and exceptional management your role will be to drive new business in the SA and WA Markets. From Mining, Manufacturing, Minerals, Oil and Gas companies and the consulting space, your role will be diverse and interesting as you build relationships from the board room to the plant floor . Selling the full Automation suite from SCADA, MES, PLC and professional service contracts this is a company that can meet all customer automation needs. You will receive exceptional product training and will have state of the art sales tools at your disposal to achieve you goals. Remuneration for this role will include:

  • Base Salary ($95K) + Super
  • Fully maintained vehicle ($20K)
  • Commission Structure to take your package up to $155K per Annum
  • Tools of Trade - Mobile Phone, Laptop

Selection Criteria

To be successful in your application for this role you must have a minimum of 4 years Industrial Software Sales (SCADA, PLC, MES and professional services) BDM experience coupled with:

  • Exceptional relationship building skills and proven ability to work yourself throughout a client's organisational structure and sell across many levels of the business.
  • Ability to manage large deals and tender processes
  • You will be self motivated and looking to sell a solution that offers exceptional ROI and exploit unique points of difference that this company can offer.
  • Candidates who have won new solutions  business in the Manufacturing, Mining or industrial sectors and the consulting space for IT solutions companies are encouraged to apply.
