They have a vacancy available now for a Sales Coordinator with strong telephone sales skills for their Acacia Ridge plant. The fundamental outcome of this role (and every other sales role) is to achieve the sales revenue targets by increasing the size of, and maintaining contact with, the company’s customer base. This largely telephone based role has the following key accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a regular customer call cycle
• Dealing with the day to day incoming and outgoing customer calls
• Regularly analysing sales data to identify revenue opportunities
• Gathering market intelligence and market research (to ascertain demand and interest in potential new products)
• Maintaining accurate records in the customer data base

This opportunity can be filtered down to 5 key elements: Customer Telephone Contact, Sales Analysis, Database Maintenance and Control, Market Intelligence, Reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience in telephone sales of industrial products, along with an interest in (and affinity for) industrial products and their applications. You will also be confident and able to take the initiative, a self-starter who likes to set and achieve goals. Previously successful employees who have excelled in this role have been methodical, practical and detail minded; good communicators who are able to analyse and solve day to day problems by themselves.
