Position/Responsibilities

This company is looking for an experienced relationship building sales professional preferably with a background in chemical engineering/chemistry to assist in maintaining existing accounts and to actively grow new business opportunities.

 

This role is 75% external, therefore you will be on to be "on the road" working autonomously opening and closing new deals. You will be selling into industrial manufacturing and mining market verticals.

 

Your target sales market will range from small/medium enterprises right through to large corporate accounts. Expected budget will range between $1.5-2M. Sales cycles will range from 2 weeks up to 2 years.

 

 The Candidate

  The ideal candidate will have 

  • A strong understanding of urethane/polyurethane chemical engineering, or a degree in chemistry/chemical engineering
  • An extensive proven track record in direct sales and account management
  • A hunter personality
  • Experience selling into the relevant target market which ranges from small business to large corporate accounts  
  • Exceptional knowledge of the companies product range which includes: Polyurethane, urethane, elastomer's, foams, coatings, etc
