Sales Executive - Foodservice The Organisation My client is an Australian owned, well established importer and manufacturer of a broad range of foodservice equipment for commercial kitchens in pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes mainly. With offices around the country, they distinguish themselves from their competition via the after sales support they offer - as well as the ongoing development and training employees receive to make them as effective as possible. Sustained growth has brought about the need for an experienced sales person in Adelaide - could this be you ? The Role You will be accountable for achieving sales targets through a combination of dealing with customers direct as well as referring business through an established dealer⁄distributor network. You will be expected to maintain strong networking relationships as well as keeping abreast of potential opportunities that will either be passed through to the appropriate distributor or followed up on directly (ie government or aged care). Although you will be largely autonomous since the sales manager is based in WA, you will have the benefit of being mentored by a very hands on operator who will facilitate your transition into the business via a formalised induction period and an established customer call cycle program. Add to this a brand new, state of the art CRM system which has just been introduced and you will have all the tools and support you need. The Person A background in sales within the foodservice⁄hospitality channel is essential, you must be able to demonstrate that you can build relationships with managers, chefs and other stakeholders who make purchasing decisions . You are a 'go getter' who enjoys the challenge of working in a diverse market at all levels, is comfortable wearing several 'hats' re responsibility and is used to being a self sufficient operator.
