The Role

Reporting to a 'hands on', collaborative Sales Manager and part of a large team  -  your key objective is to promote and sell the range of health oriented texts (both print and electronic) and online solutions to lecturers, faculty heads and other key academic stakeholders at universities, colleges, TAFES and relevant Training organisations.  Your range of contacts will also extend to librarians and campus bookshop operators, particularly with regard to medical texts, discretionary copies and e-products. You will be supported by an infrastructure and resources internally that are amongst the best in the industry - sales tools, ongoing internal training, an internal marketing team as well as the benefit of representing an established brand which will get your foot in the door every time ! !

The Person

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in solution sales - ideally in academic, electronic information or healthcare (anything technical). A degree in business or science is an advantage but not critical - its more about your track record and your professional approach. We need people who possess superior communication and presentation skills coupled with an understanding of and enthusiasm for e learning, electronic publishing and information solutions. You will also have strong computer skills (MS office) and be proficent in the use of CRM systems.
