Two senior level opportunities exist with my client for suitably qualified and experienced Geotechnical Engineers
My client is recognised both nationally and internationally for it's strengths in many disciplines in engineering and environmental consulting. Their Ground engineering team, the Geotechnical and Tunnelling group, is particularly well regarded
Due to forward work and sustained growth though a time of little growth particularly within the infrastructure, they are continuing their expansion by looking to hire a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and a Principal Geotechnical Engineer
Both positions require the successful candidate to be able to prepare geotechnical investigation reports, concept and detailed design reports and progress reports to satisfy project requirements. Additionally, for both roles candidates must be commercially aware and pay particular attention to balancing client requirements against project budgets; i.e. on-time delivery of high quality output within project budget
Role specific requirements will be -
Senior Geotechnical Engineer:
- 8 years experience in geotechnical work
- prepare tenders for small to medium sized tenders
- project manage a portfolio of projects
- provide technical leadership to clients and mentor juniors within the team
Principal Geotechnical Engineer:
- 12 years experience in geotechnical work
- Manage clients and maintain client satisfaction
- Develop alternative geotechnical solutions to be competitive in the market and be at the forefront of cutting edge technology
- Business development and marketing
