Customer Technical Support Officer - Outstanding Company!
Location: CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs

We manufacture and sell a range of advanced medical diagnostic products and are recognised as a world leader in our field. As a result of expanding business we are now looking for an outstanding Customer Technical Support Officer to join our organisation and be part of a team of dedicated, enthusiastic and committed individuals.

As an important member of the Technical Support team, some of your key duties in this position are to:

  • Respond quickly and effectively to customer technical enquiries and requests
  • Evaluating product complaints to determine those indicative of product performance issues
  • Deliver timely responses to customers & keep customers updated
  • Exercise diplomacy and respect when dealing with difficult or dissatisfied customers
  • Be a valuable resource to internal and external customers with respect to product technical information
  • Build an exceptional level of respect with customers
  • Prioritise investigate, resolve and document customer concerns, escalating where required
  • Provide an interface between the customer and the company
  • Deliver training and education programs to different audiences lay people through to medical professionals
  • Monitor and expand QA programs
  • Respond quickly and effectively to customer technical enquiries and requests
  • Be a valuable resource to internal and external customers with respect to product technical information
  • Build an exceptional level of respect with customers
  • Provide an interface between the customer and the company
  • Monitor and expand QA programs and other post market surveillance activities involving the company s products

To be successful in this important role, some of your skills and knowledge will include:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent or an equivalent life science degree
  • At least 3-5 years laboratory experience
  • An understanding of or experience in in-vitro medical devices and/or point-of-care diagnostics
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proven ability in problem-solving
  • Clean drivers licence required plus own car

You need to possess exceptional communication skills and be available for frequent travel to local and interstate customer sites plus some interstate travel

Proficiency in haematology or cardiovascular product area is desirable
