Environmental Principal $154K - $133K PLANNING AND RISK MANAGEMENT PROJECTS
Perth

Principal Environmental Consultant

At this point in your career, you will have done your fair share of field work, produced many strong reports, technically overseen junior professionals in their project work, managed key clients for the business and looked after functional team management duties such as hiring, reviews and resource utilisation.

This covers a lot, and may leave you thinking of the next logical progression.

Developing your own consulting business may have crossed your mind, but the reality is it can be a hard road on your own, with a lot less financial reward, and a lot more financial drain than you may expect. Of course the motivator behind this is the challenge of developing something new and the reward as you get results.

This opportunity can give you the best of both worlds, an autonomous role developing, but with the end risk on the company itself.

  • This role specifically requires your input into the strategy of the business and the business plan. They are asking to you to come in and take control.

  • You will have a fully functioning “shell” to work with, which includes accredited auditors nationally, global partner offices, longstanding Perth team accustomed to the business and a key partner of the business to work with on a management level.

  • With no “glass ceiling” in the company globally, this is not the end of your challenge. Your success and drive is your motivator to move on to larger roles within the business in years to come.

  • Lean on your own technical competencies as well as market knowledge and incorporate this into the business.  Autonomy to take a creative approach to the development of the business.

  • Financial rewards are not being taken for granted, with strong equity options, bonus potential for you and your team.

Your technical expertise will need to be backed up with relationships in WA within the mining and industrial impact assessment, due diligence and risk assessment arena.
