Work within a long standing and dedicated in-house Hydrogeological team and appreciate support as well as the fact that those around you know what their doing, because it was them who developed the methods. Work from the one site and know that your continuous and ongoing involvement can create improved systems of action.
Usually in a FIFO position catching up with your superiors is an ongoing battle with conflicting schedules and opposing site rosters, However this company understands this and their Hydrogeology team have been doing this for years and have a specific system involving Bi-monthly and weekly meetings to ensure the Superintendent is on site when you are. This means you will always have the opportunity to be both seen and heard.
Enjoy the variety of developing theoretical Hydrogeological work and then see it directly applied to your work on site. As well as the Hydrogeo work that would be expected such as: Mine Site Dewatering, Ground Water exploration and development programs.
As you would understand tertiary qualifications for this role are a given, a masters in Hydrogeology would be appreciated, accompanied with 7+ years experience preferably field based within the mining sector.
