Senior Hydrogeologist
Perth Based
As you would know from your work in the industry, Hydrogeologists are in high demand in the Pilbara as projects have reached the water table level; this means major hydrogeology work is required for mine sites.
Stay in Perth and maintain a lifestyle, with site work as required, however this is flexible and can be tailored to appreciate your commitments when needed. As the Senior Hydrogeologist this postion will see you providing high end Hydrogeological support as well as technical leadership across the hydrogeology team of 6.
Reporting the Superintendent, you will work in a close team environment and be responsible in managing major ground water investigations and development programs. The casual and open relationship created with the superintendent means that you have the ongoing opportunity to voice your professional development plans, and have the ability to achieve these with twice yearly reviews.
Areas of focus could include:
- Mine Site Dewatering
- Ground Water exploration and development programs
- Hydrogeological mapping and Geophysical investigations
As you would understand tertiary qualifications for this role are a given, a masters in Hydrogeology would be appreciated, accompanied with 7+ years experience preferably field based within the mining sector.
