A recent opportunity has arisen for a Principal Environmental Scientist to join their Brisbane corporate office. The role will see you working across various studies and projects concurrently providing technical oversight, while also proving strategic and operational management support to the environmental sciences group.

Key accountabilities will include but not limited to...

• The provision of technical oversight on environmental impact assessment and management projects within heavy industry


• The coordination and preparation of project proposals relative to the environmental discipline


• The provision of technical advice to project and study teams


• The management of internal and external relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications...

• Degree qualifications in environmental sciences or engineering equivalent


• Demonstrated experience in working across heavy industrial projects (consultancy experience preferred)


• Experience within a senior, lead or principal sciences/engineering role

Experience working on heavy projects relative to marine infrastructure is also highly desirable i.e coal terminal work etc.
