Working a 2:1 roster you will report directly to the Mining Superintendent and be responsible for coordinating and directing work teams on site to ensure production targets are met.
As Site Supervisor you will organize and plan on a daily basis to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of resources both human and capital, continuous improvement and meeting daily/weekly targets are central components of this role.
This job is FIFO (2weeks on; 1week off) with camp accommodation provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Supervisor in a mining environment with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the mining industry on open cut or quarry projects.
Highly developed organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Mining Act 1971 and Mining Regulations 2011, together with a high level of commitment to project industrial safety, specifically as it pertains to mines, earthworks projects, sites a
