Due to corporate growth they are now on the hunt for a Cleaning Supervisor to assist in leading the cleaning crew in the presentation of the school premises from the property services division (student dormitories) through to the communal areas and external grounds.
The duties of this role are (but not limited to):
- To create and maintain a clean environment at all times
- To operate commercial cleaning equipment and train others to follow
- To be aware of and monitor safe and effective use of cleaning chemicals and train others to follow
- To coordinate and oversee cleaning contractors daily
- To assist with implementing the OH&S principles of the organisation
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
- Knowledge and ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment
- Experience in working within a cleaning team/crew
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to decide on appropriate equipment to be used for specific cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of and ability to use cleaning chemicals and know their safe handling practises
- Be computer literate
