A great opportunity exists for an experienced manager in Northern Tasmania to step into an existing services contract and further develop various new and existing relationships. Working with the incumbent, who has recently been promoted, you will have all the support needed to take this opportunity to the next level.
This role will be responsible for the overall management of various independent operations ranging from material handling and processing to mobile plant hire. With support form the Area Manager the position will also have a significant focus on the sale of support services to industry in the local area.
With a focus on client relationships and contract management you will be accountable for productivity improvements, plant optimisation and all administrative duties including performance management and reporting, rostering and scheduling, budget development and cost analysis.
Reporting to the Area Manager you will be responsible for: Ensure strict compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental standards Ensure all quality and performance standards are maintained Maximisation of plant availability, usage and performance Promotion and cross selling of services to the local area The development and maintenance of high levelled customer relationships To be successful in this role you must have be able to maintain and promote the Zero Harm culture that is the cornerstone of our Clients focus on Health, Safety and the Environment. You will also need proven ability in the management of a diverse workforce with previous heavy industry experience a must. We are looking for someone who is a team player with good communication skills, able to get the most from their staff. A trade ticket and or tickets for various mobile plant as well as experience with fixed plant would be advantageous.
