Export and IT training support assistant

 Our client is a global business.  They provide spare parts support to 300 dealerships in Australia and overseas.   Due to internal movement they are in need of an experienced assistant to work within the Export and Training & Administration team.  Your role will firstly start with handling all export and compliance matters and evolve into IT support and facilitating training to customers on IT systems.  Reporting directly to the manager your role will cover the following areas:   

  • Co-ordination of parts export business
  • IT support to dealerships
  • Co-ordination of internal staff training on IT systems
  • Assistance with training dealers in all aspects of the parts business including training in several business system applications
  • Overall administration support covering all areas of Export and general day to day administration for the business unit
  • Manage payments from overseas customers - pre-payment, letters of credit, bank guarantees
  • Provide feedback to overseas IT technicians on system improvements
  • Order and maintain stationery and office supplies
  • Publish Aftersales Parts Bulletins on Dealer Portal and via e-mail

 You will need to have recent experience working within Export and have a sound knowledge and understanding of export compliance and associated legal matters.

You will also need:

  • - Strong attention to detail is needed to ensure all documentation is correct
  • - Strong organization and follow up skills
  • - Keen interest in IT and systems with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and give support on related system issues
  • - Overall knowledge of Microsoft packaging including Word/Excel
  • - SAP knowledge advantage
  • - Terrific communication skills to facilitate training, with experience liaising with all levels of management
  • - Flexibility to work outside normal hours should there be a requirement to attend a conference call to assist with overseas customers.
