Our client is a market leader in providing safe and reliable onsite and offsite support services to the coal, metals, minerals, timber and steel industries. With their unwavering commitment to safety and "Zero Harm" they are an industry leader in OHS&E practices for employees, contractors, customers and local communities.

This new position will be responsible for the overall management of various independent businesses ranging from transport and logistics to mobile plant hire to quarry operations and the promotion of support services to industry.

With a strong focus on business improvement the ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, the ability to set and work within realistic budgets and the ability to motivate and influence team performance by providing a clear sense of purpose and direction. The ability to analyse complex reports and data for cost benefit analyses and quantity analyses is essential. Formal qualifications in business or accounting disciplines would be advantageous.

Ideally you will have managerial experience from within the industrial services sector or a similar client focused industry. With exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop high level customer relationships, you will be able to work effectively with clients, employees and contractors in an efficient, cost effective and professional manner.
Working with the incumbent site supervisors you will manage the performance of all sites with a focus on cost efficiencies and systems improvements. Reporting to the area manager, your responsibilities will include:
Ensure strict compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental standards
Ensure all quality and performance standards are maintained
Responsibility for the Financial Performance of each cost centre
Maximisation of plant availability, usage and performance
Promotion and cross selling of services to the local area
The development and maintenance of high levelled customer relationships
An understanding of complex shift cycles and associated IR principles
