This new position will be responsible for the overall management of various independent businesses ranging from transport and logistics to mobile plant hire to quarry operations and the promotion of support services to industry.
With a strong focus on business improvement the ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, the ability to set and work within realistic budgets and the ability to motivate and influence team performance by providing a clear sense of purpose and direction. The ability to analyse complex reports and data for cost benefit analyses and quantity analyses is essential. Formal qualifications in business or accounting disciplines would be advantageous.
Ideally you will have managerial experience from within the industrial services sector or a similar client focused industry. With exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop high level customer relationships, you will be able to work effectively with clients, employees and contractors in an efficient, cost effective and professional manner. Working with the incumbent site supervisors you will manage the performance of all sites with a focus on cost efficiencies and systems improvements.
