About our Client Our client is a leading financial services organisation with locations across the globe. Job Description Reporting to the Head of Procurement and being involved in both the operational, hands on procurement and formulating the procurement strategy, you will lead procurement projects across a broad range of indirect spend categories. These include, but are not limited to, Facilities Management, IT, Professional Services such as recruitment, legal, consulting and marketing, Office Equipment and Travel. You will: - Lead commercial negotiations within these categories and define the size, scope and strategy within each.
- Have involvement in Asia Pacific and country wide projects.
- Conduct regular reviews and benchmarks of suppliers
- Consolidate the supply base where suitable to maximise efficiency and ensure best possible price.
- Establish strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate will have previous sourcing and procurement experience within indirect spend categories with blue chip organisations. Experience within financial services will be especially highly regarded but is not essential. Degree or relevant industry qualifications are preferred. Candidates must have strong corporate presentation and communication skills. You will be able to work in an internal consultant style to cater to the requirements of the internal stakeholders while driving best outcomes for the organisation as a whole. What's on Offer Salary commensurate with experience, circa $100,000 - $120,000 package (including base and super) with an attractive additional performance based bonus.
