My client is an true leader in the financial services space. Using an ITIL/ITSM model my client's business operations are supported by external vendors and internal shared services teams. This challenging role is focused on the optimization and delivery of those critical services. The mandate is to pro actively engage with the internal delivery teams and external technology vendors to provide mission critical service to the business and their customers. By establishing industry best practices in service management you will help support my clients' business growth ensuring operational systems meet business needs and exceed customer expectations. The responsibilities of this role include SLA creation/implementation/management, key incident management, response analysis, service delivery reporting, vendor engagement and change management. The successful applicant will have strong influencing and interpersonal skills and a background in service delivery, ideally in a financial services or other compliance heavy environment. Since the ability to manage the external services vendors is key, the applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to successfully manage the vendor/client relationship. Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM best practice is critical and certifications in this area would be strongly favoured.
