We are looking for a corporate Communications Specialist to join this Project team to take a key role in the creation and delivery of communication and change management information. This is a contract role to join the Project Team and take responsibility for managing all the communications aspects of the integration process. In particular to take responsibility for the following activities: - Work in conjunction with the project team to create communications strategies and plans to deliver information and messages to the various business units.
- Work in conjunction with the project Change Management team to identify the various stakeholder groups and tailor communications activities to these groups.
- Coordinate, write and edit the weekly internal integration project newsletter, aimed at informing staff of activities and initiatives of the integration process.
- Write and coordinate information for publishing on the Intranet.
- Assist the Integration Project team in managing other aspects of the integration process.
Key Attributes: - Demonstrated skills and experience in taking responsibility for and managing a successful communication campaign in a corporate environment while engaging both internal and external stakeholders
- A track record or responsibility for successful communications activities in a large business or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in working with stakeholders to create good news and other stories and publishing these through newsflashes, newsletters and other media.
- Knowledge and experience in working in a corporate environment while undergoing significant change and working together with change management initiatives to effect a smooth transition to the new environment.
- Knowledge and experience of the communication documentation requirements when operating in a Prince2 project management environment.
- Skill in working with stakeholders to create good news and other stories associated with the integration process.
- Ability to work with senior management, users, and fellow team members as an integral and valuable team member while achieving planned business outcomes through effective communications practices.
