Service Delivery Component (approx. 50%) - Security Manager (approx. 50%) This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery and Security Manager (SDSM) to lead and promote outstanding customer service and delivery techniques through the operational support team. You will be required to own and manage the incident process, be a key driver of internal process excellence and security for internal and external infrastructure and data. Responsibilities: - Responsible for ensuring all customers are kept up to date with status updates where a major incident or security incident requires management level intervention to resolve.
- Understand, implement and report on areas of the Operations support team which can be improved
- Ensure movements of all infrastructure and/or data are recorded, and managed from a risk perspective, ensuring compliance to external audit requirements is not compromised.
- Design, implementation and ongoing development of documentation for operational support team
- Act as a backup resource to Chief Operating Officer (COO) at times where the COO is unavailable.
- Ensure communications between the technical operations team, the wider business, and the customer and partner base are maintained at all times.
- SLA Understanding and compliance - the ability to assess risk to prevent unnecessary SLA slippages through proactive thinking and innovation.
- Own, implement and maintain all security guidelines, principles and responsibilities in order to remain within external auditing requirements;
- Security documentation is maintained at all times, in readiness for random external and internal audit reviews
- Maintain audit schedule as appropriate (eg, patch runs, firewall configuration details and changes, anti-malware etc)
- Take the lead on security of the infrastructure and data, from a logical and physical security perspective.
Skill set required: - At least six (6) years continuous experience in the internet services/managed services/outsourcing industry in a senior technical capacity, particularly focusing on Security Administration
- IT Security Administration qualifications and/or certifications - particularly in networking and/or Windows Server disciplines;
- Thorough understanding of Service Delivery methodologies/SDLC, Service Level Agreements;
- Superior reporting ability, particularly around post-incident reviews and root cause analysis principles;
- ITIL foundation certificate (v2 or v3) or higher
- MUST be able to successfully complete AFP Security Clearance check
- Experience in technical program management focusing on security administration/adherence highly desirable
- Undergraduate or Post Graduate studies preferred but not essential
- PM2/PMBOK certification highly regarded
- Recent MCP/MCSE/MSITP qualifications in one or more Microsoft discipline (eg Exchange, CRM, Sharepoint)
- Recent CCNA qualification
